Testing Power Transformer up to 500MVA, Generator Transformer in highly inductive environment is difficult. Key to any plant or substation, failure of GT / Power transformer is considered to be the biggest loss due to its cost & time of replacement. Testing with ‘Right’ equipment becomes paramount importance to check healthiness and do condition-based monitoring to prevent transformer from failure by rectifying in time.
